Session 6

Heroes: Aerandir, Fundin, Greyfox, Ragnarr.

YEAR 2947 - Autumn

The Heroes reach the mountains, and spend the night in the ruins of an ancient Mannish city; but when the darkness is deeper, they are attacked by a night-wight, an evil spirit haunting the ruins. Fundin destroys the creature, but the shadow begins to take a toll on him, making him more brutal and cruel.

The day after, they reach the Ringfort, where Dinodas and his hired men are holding off the attack of a goblin warparty. The Heroes join their forces, and at night they fight to defend the hill against the invading forces. They manage to repel the goblins, but during the battle a few orcs suddenly appear in the middle of the fort, having used a secret tunnel, and kidnap Dinodas.

The Heroes recover from their efforts, and begin the hunt through the tunnels. After a hard day of travel in the dark, they reach the lair of the goblins, and find Dinodas chained to a wall, preparing dinner for the evil creatures. The chains are too sturdy to be broken, and the Heroes are forced to sneak through the goblin feast and steal the key from the orc chief.

Greyfox has almost succeeded, when the chieftain spots her just next to him, and the chaos begins! The Heroes are forced to fight their way through the many goblins, and during the battle Fundin falls; with the key in their hands, and judging the odds overwhelming, the Heroes leave Fundin to his doom, and sprint away from the feast hall, first to Dinodas, and then back to the dark tunnels.
